Text Blast Your Message

Send out 1000's of messages to your people.

  • You send out text messages to the customer (cell phone) groups you define.
  • Anyone who responds to the text appears simultaneously in your web portal and all employee cell phones that have our "Text Enable" app.
  • Your staff can answer these text messages efficiently as a team or by a dedicated staff member.

Text Blasting starts with "text enabled" main business number.At Infotel Systems (our example) we say "CALL OR TEXT 804-266-6600". We can engage in person-to-person (p2p) non-automated text messaging without permission.

Now we blast off...

Customer Groups are built from "subscribers" texting (permission) a keyword to 804-266-6600. If the sign-up is successful, the system texts back a confirmation message.

Our subscription Keywords reflect our motto of "We Keep You Connected" So, our group Text Blast sign-up keywords are;

  • "DOWN" to join the utility outage advisory group covering Comcast and Verizon Internet, major wireless providers, and Microsoft/Google cloud services.
  • "INFO" to join our hosted data services performance advisory group.
  • "TEL" to join our voice systems performance advisory group.

Sending a text to a group is a simple process;

  1. Sign into our pre-defined text blast web site on your PC or Mac.
  2. Type your text or select a previously written draft.
  3. Select the destination group such as OUT
  4. Press send or select a scheduled time to send the text.

Customers receiving a message can relay back and have a one-on-one conversation or choose to opt-out of the group by sending back a command such as "STOP".

Some FCC mandated setup is required for mass texing. We register your "blast" campaign with the FCC. Unlike everyday cell phone to cell phone (P2P) texting, you must have FCC mandated written permission from each recipient to send mass texts also known as application to person (A2P) texting. See FCC texting rules and ChatGBT analysis of rules.
